Technical Sales Engineer EMS China The person in this position as Technical Sales Engineer EMS Southern China will be responsible for performing business development into new customers in the industrial, medical, telecom, consumer, and automotive markets. Their main products are printed circuit boards and Electronic Manufacturing Services. The Technical Sales Engineer EMS China will be a true “hunter” to dig up leads on potential customers and work towards closing deals to increase revenue in Southern China. Responsibilities will include: • Regular interface with all levels of customer management to ensure a thorough and timely understanding of the customer’s interests, requirements, and opportunities. • Build strong customer relationships and create the recognition at the customers that the company can provide long term solutions to their manufacturing needs. • Interface with customers on a variety of issues including product and test specifications, manufacturing processes, purchase orders and releases, quality issues, etc. • Drive all aspects of new program development, quoting, sampling qualifications as required. • Exercise good business judgment and effective conflict resolution skills to solve problems and disputes that may arise. The candidate for the position must meet these minimum background qualifications: •5 years experience selling Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). •Established customer contacts in the Southern China area. •Proven ability to work remotely and unsupervised. •Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. •Good in command of both spoken/written Chinese Mandarin & English.
