Field Service Engineer - Korea
Our client supplies high-value, high-technology
manufacturing equipment to the global electronics market. More specifically, our
equipment is used in the manufacture of digital and analog semiconductor
devices, passive components, and electronic interconnect circuits as well as
vision solutions for other OEM suppliers.
The successful candidate will be part of the Asian Customer Operations team in
the role of Field Service Engineer for the line of Dispensing Systems and
Conformal Coating Systems used primarke@ily in semiconductor packaging and
high-density interconnect applications.
primary Duties:
-
Perform preventative maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repair of Dispensing Systems and Conformal Coating
Systems product line
-
Work closely with customer’s engineering and
manufacturing team to ensure maximum manufacturing availability of company’s
equipment onsite.
Secondary Duties:
-
Closely interface with Customer Service Reps
(CSR’s) to maintain in-flow and out-flow of parts in a timely manner.

Perform regular input to the company’s ERP
system to maintain accurate, timely utilization metrics
-
Timely completion of all administrative
duties including completion of expense reporting, submission of information
to the service engineer knowledge database, and all other assigned
administrative tasks.
Requirements:
-
3-5 years experience servicing complex
capital equipment required.

Experience with use of general purpose
electronic and semiconductor equipment.

Experience with use of basic hand tools and
precision mechanical measurement tools such as calipers, dial indicators,
and micrometers
-
Experience troubleshooting / repairing
robotic systems / closed loop CNC servo systems.

Experience with UNIX / Lynx operating system.

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology
desired

Strong desire to learn electromechanical
technology

Excellent verbal and written communication
skills, must speak fluent Korean.

Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications
(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
-
Must be able to work in awkward positions
(kneeling, bending, leaning, and reaching) for prolonged periods while
adjusting, calibrating, and aligning equipment.
