Business marketing Manager - China
Our client is a global US manufacturer of capital
equipment for the semiconductor and interconnect industries.
Responsibilities:
This is a key role that is responsible for the
Conformal Coating Systems and Dispensing Systems success with specific customers
or in specific market segments in Taiwan/China. Specifically, they are
responsible for leading the key customer strategy and actions to meet the
division’s penetration, share, and adoption and profit objectives through:
Technology roadmap alignment
Fostering technical and operational relationships at all levels
Installed base satisfaction
New product beta-sites
Negotiating business deals that meet the customer's and company’s division's
objectives
Accurately forecasting business to meet bookings objectives and ultimately drive
the right product build plans
Plan and coordinate product demos, customer visits, and all customer meetings
that involve division personnel
Qualifications:
Extensive semiconductor industry experience
(preferably 10+ years) preferably in a manager position responsible for
multi-million dollars sales and marketing of semiconductor capital equipment or
service business in Taiwan or China
Mandarin speaking a plus
Knowledge and familiarity with conformal coating products a plus
MBA a plus
Must be able to judiciously exercise assertiveness and influence to drive
division goals
Must be able to adapt to a dynamic environment and make decisions with a limited
amount of information
Ability to work with executives, both external and internal to company,
negotiating extremely difficult matter to influence policy making
Must demonstrate initiative and have a positive, can-do attitude
Must be able to provide energy and leadership to motivate field organization
BS degree (MS preferred) -> technical depth
5-7 years of Product marketing / Sales / and/or Applications experience in
Semiconductor Capital Equipment; also progressively more responsible management
positions in a marketing environment, with last assignment preferably in a
Manager level position
